I was there for a couple of days. We had the entire place to ourselves, which provided ample space. The location is ideal for team-building and family gatherings. The staff were incredibly friendly. However, the connections in the rooms need updating, as there were broken ports everywhere, both power and USB.
There seems to be an issue with the neighborhood, resulting in everything shutting down at 23:30. Guests are not allowed to stay outside past this time, and even chatting with friends outside one's room is prohibited. One either has to go to sleep or leave the premises to continue the conversation. We had to do this every night. Fortunately, the security guard was understanding.
The food was decent; neither exceptional nor poor. Overall, while I was initially excited upon arrival, I left with a bittersweet feeling. Kudos to the staff for making the best of it!
I'm writing this review as sitting on my bed almost at midnight and not being able to sleep. Well, if you're between 18 and 22 yo, and you're spending 1st holidays away with your friends, that's the place. If you want to sleep, then that's not the place. But the bad review is principally because my bed had no sheet and I asked for it at the reception. I was told they would bring it to me in a moment, but never did. Had to put my beach towel on top of the mattress coz I ain't no sleeping on a bed without sheet in a hostel... so yeah, 80€/dorm for a bed with no sheet.

The dorm concept is great as the build of the beds gives you some privacy. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Our dorm and the showers/toilets were always clean.
For two nights we were happy to stay at Jo&Joe, but we prefer a calmer place for a longer stay. For a 14-bed-dorm, it was pretty quiet though. The people are respectful.
I was disappointed that you cannot pay with cash. And the toilet paper is not so good.
Such a good spot to know people and enjoy the surf vibes. All staff super gentle and polite, toilets pretty clean and card keys giving an easy acces. They have a lot of bikes also what is pretty good to move around the town (bikes with surf rack also 🌊❤️). I had and amazing experience and hope be back very soon, this place looks like arts factory in Byron, good vibes and chill.
The hostel is so cool and the breakfast ladies (Auriane) are really helpful and sweet :) I really enjoy my stay here.

Super surfer hostel, not far from the beach! The staff is super nice, the facilities are great and the events are great!

Everything was tidy and clean, staff was very nice as well.
We struggled to get a lot of sleep tho, doors were very loud.
